MAY 26, 2026 – Our mixer this week takes place at Paddle House Brews, from 5-8 p.m., a venue familiar to Queer Coffee attendees. This mixer also brings us back together with our friends from Kin⋅Dom Camp at Zephyr Point, whom we are thrilled to join again this year for their fundraiser to support LGBTQIA+ youth campers this July.
If you attended last year’s Kin⋅Dom Camp fundraiser, you have a sense of what to expect. A fun tie-dye station (bring your own white apparel items or purchase a bandana), games, thoughtful details, and lots of meaningful connection. This year, a raffle is also being worked on, so bring a sense of generosity if you feel able.
The youth who attend our local Kin⋅Dom Camp get to experience something most of us never did as kids: have a truly fun and meaningful camp experience. Zephyr Point offers a premium summer camp setting on the east shore of Lake Tahoe and designs a camp week just for queer and questioning youth. The mission of Kin-Dom camp as it expressed to prospective campers: “Grow in your understanding that you are loved, that you are enough, and that you belong!” What could be better than that? You can read all about the gorgeous camp’s offerings here.
More info on the fundraiser: IG and FB.
Paddle House Brews welcomes our community warmly, and we are so thrilled to have an evening opportunity to enjoy their prime location, just a short stroll from Lakeview Commons, and cozy vibes with plentiful outdoor space. PHB’s tap truck will be pouring beer and wine, and the coffee shop inside will remain open as well for your caf, decaf, and half-caf needs; there will also be an evening food menu. A cornhole league will be sharing the space with us, so expect that extra festive ambience.
Casual board and card games are always welcome. Invite a supportive friend or family member or just bring your authentic self. And bring a light hoodie or other warmer layer!
In the spirit of solidarity, we extend a warm invitation to allies from all facets of our Lake Tahoe community, as well as visitors to the area.
Paddle House Brews is located at 3135 Harrison Ave. in South Lake Tahoe.
Every Tuesday, Lake Tahoe Pride hosts a social mixer at a restaurant, brewery, bar, beach, or other welcoming venue around South Lake Tahoe. Our diverse weekly mixers are a way for LGBTQIA+ people above 6,000 feet to make connections, build community, and find an extra bright spot in the week.
