APRIL 21, 2026 – A thoughtful invitation served as the impetus for this week’s Pride Night social mixer. We’ll be having a casual pizza joint meetup at 5:30 followed by a queer bar night takeover right around the corner from 7:30 on April 21st and we’d love to see you for either/both.
Vinny’s Pizza will be our spot to gather, enjoy casual community time, and put down a base layer from 5:30 p.m. and is open to all ages. But that’s not all…
…because starting at 7:30, those of drinking age who wish to do so can start heading a few steps around the building to Bar 6200, an elevated watering hole that tourists love when they find it and that locals value all year long.
A cozy space, low lighting, and cocktails designed by a gifted bartender set Bar 6200 apart. Amanda, our host on the bar venue side has pulled together a few special cocktails and a playlist just for us, and she has even proposed a theme, ’90s Club Party, for those who feel able to put a creative outfit together or nod to the era with an accessory or two. So come dressed in whatever feels ’90s to you, or whatever feels fun, authentic, or comfortable, and enjoy a double-feature mixer event this week: casual pizza and a whimsical drink.

Invite a supportive friend or family member or just bring your authentic self.
In the spirit of solidarity, we extend a warm invitation to allies from all facets of our Lake Tahoe community, as well as visitors to the area.
It’s a little something different, and we hope it offers something for you to look forward to this week. We’ll see you there!
Vinny’s Pizza is located at 3940 Lake Tahoe Blvd., Suite 2, and Bar 6200 is just around the building in Suite 4.
NOTE: Parking is limited immediately around this venue. Be thoughtful and carpool. Be responsible and take a Lyft. Be creative and park in the adjacent neighborhood across Pioneer Rd. (while being mindful and following street signage and other parking regulations).
Every Tuesday, Lake Tahoe Pride hosts a social mixer at a restaurant, brewery, bar, beach, or other welcoming venue around South Lake Tahoe. Our diverse weekly mixers are a way for LGBTQIA+ people above 6,000 feet to make connections, build community, and find an extra bright spot in the week.
