Lake Tahoe Pride is a 100% volunteer LGBTQ+ community group. We do not collect membership fees nor do we collect donations. Therefore, we depend on volunteers, community partners, and individual financial contributions to continue benefiting our community members. If you’re wondering how you can help us continue to operate, here are a few ideas:
Support Our Website
Our website does not run for free. We depend on help from supporters like you. Our website is an important tool for us to communicate all the amazing initiatives and events that we put on. If every person who visited our website in one year’s time donated a 1-month subscription ($18) to Lake Tahoe Pride, the site could run for decades! Please follow the steps below to support us.
At the top of every page on our website, there is a banner with the button “Gift”. Click on the button and it will take you to the page where you can help us purchase a subscription.

Unfortunately, this can’t be designated as a donation nor is it tax-deductible. Think of it like buying nice meal for a lovely friend except that lovely friend are all the people who get to benefit from a resource like our website! We thank you for your generosity!
Get Involved
Lake Tahoe Pride is a loosely-organized LGBTQ community group. We exist to serve the queer and transgender members of the Lake Tahoe Basin and its surrounding neighbors. Whether you are a long-time local, a seasonal resident, or just visit once a year, your involvement with Lake Tahoe Pride ensures that we foster a community where you belong just as you are!

Support the Pride Equality Scholarship
Some of our founding members were former students at the Lake Tahoe Community College (LTCC). Given the positive impact the college has had on their lives, they helped to found the LTCC Pride Equality Scholarship. Lake Tahoe Pride raises funds for the scholarship endowment fund and provides (2) $1000 scholarships to LTCC queer and ally students each year (and provide even larger scholarships in the future!) Queer and trans students are confronted with additional stresses related to their sexual and gender identity on top of their class workload. We hope this fund helps to alleviate some of that burden.
