APRIL 25, 2026 – Pride is about more than community. It’s also about giving back and promoting visibility, access, and safety in shared spaces. The Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association (TAMBA), which has previously collaborated with Lake Tahoe Pride on Pride Trail Days, is extending a new volunteer opportunity, Women’s Trail College, to members of our community.
This training takes place on Saturday, April 25 at the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) office in Stateline, Nevada. The agenda includes an introduction to trails, a module on digital mapping for trail building, and a tool demonstration. All community members who identify as femme, trans, women, and non-binary are invited to participate.
Registration for this volunteer opportunity is required.
Lunch will be provided.

In the organization’s own words, “The Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association (TAMBA) is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization that builds, maintains, and advocates for multi-use trails in Tahoe while providing education to all trail users and hosting fun community events. TAMBA works in partnership with land managers such as the U.S. Forest Service, Nevada State Parks, California State Parks, and the City of South Lake Tahoe. In addition, TAMBA helps maintain more than 100 miles of trail per year.”
