JANUARY 6, 2025 – Well, we made it. There’s snow. We’re getting back to business as usual. Challenges aside, we always have a mixer on the horizon. Please join us this week, Tuesday January 6 from 5:30 p.m. at one of our comfort spaces, Blue Dog Pizza at Stateline.
Blue Dog is a casual hospitable local spot that treats tourists and residents alike very well, with freshly prepared pizza, sandwiches, and snacks. We’ll be there Tuesday evening for some local, inclusive queer community time.
Every Tuesday, Lake Tahoe Pride hosts a social mixer at a restaurant, brewery, bar, beach, or other welcoming venue around town. Our diverse weekly mixers are a way for LGBTQIA+ people above 6,000 feet to make connections, build community, and find an extra bright spot in the week.
Blue Dog is a relaxation zone for us. Unnecessarily good pizza joint standards plus beer, wine, and fountain soda options—all in a relaxed ambience—let us focus on the Lake Tahoe Pride essentials: community connection, conversation, and casual card and table games.
In the spirit of solidarity, we extend a warm invitation to allies from all facets of our Lake Tahoe community, as well as visitors to the area.
Feel free to bring a supportive friend or family member or just bring your authentic self. Bring a casual board or card game and invite someone to play.
Blue Dog Pizza (Stateline location) is located in Village Center at 4000 Lake Tahoe Blvd, Suite A1, in South Lake Tahoe.
TIP: A two-hour parking limit at the Village Center may be enforced in the evenings, so keep that in mind. It *may* be possible to request a parking extension tag from Blue Dog staff. Otherwise, keep the time in mind and move your vehicle midway through to avoid a fine!
