JANUARY 2, 2026 – On your first Friday night of the new year, what sounds better than enjoying a fun same-sex wedding party without any of the drama, expenses, dress code prescriptions, and weird relatives that come with a traditional wedding?! Join Jason and Quincy as they celebrate their elopement with a small group of their closest friends and as many Lake Tahoe Pride locals as we can squeeze into Elevated Wine Experience on January 2, 2026 from 7-11 PM.

We received an intriguing email a few weeks ago. The gist: a guy named Jeffery was writing to us because his best friend, who is eloping in the company of a few friends at Lake Tahoe, would love nothing more than to celebrate his marriage by dancing and mingling with members of our local pride community. He has the venue, the DJ, and the cake. We have the local pride vibes, and never enough occasions to work them out, so let’s gooooooo!

A reliable headcount will be helpful for the venue but don’t hesitate to come by regardless. Wine and bites will also be available at Elevated Wine Experience for purchase.

We always talk about how parking toward Stateline can be tricky around the holidays, but remember that Heavenly Village Parking Lot (the old cinema lot) is $5 after 5 p.m. and there is often street parking west of Lake Tahoe Boulevard, so it’s doable.
